Its a good social media for traders but I would never recommend it to be used to follow someone's picks nor the same for any other social media site (e.g. Twitter, TradingView, CNBC, Bloomberg).

Regardless, there are thousands of traders posting signal calls on stocktwits...

How the hell did you backtest all those traders and why would anyone do such ???

Stocktwits had potential for an NLP edge, but it devolved into Joe Random buying $STOCK and then tweeting "$STOCK going to the moon!!! Buy now!!". Worthless.
