Fyi, the block has been bored from 366 to 402 cubic inches, and all forged componets installed. Then, the blower, headers, injectors, front/rear camera installed, etc., That set up is about $25,000 in parts and labor. That's 920hp too though.
I'm good with right at 600hp, which can be installed turn-key for well under 10m. The 920hp is waaaaaaaaaaay too much for me.

Sorry about the vettes.
They fixed that in 06 up to current. The 05 C6's and earlier C5's had some trouble in the rear. That's why I would recommend if someone is going to look at Vettes, they go for 06-08. Preferably one that some very wealthy guy bought on a wekend, and traded Monday for another toy, allowing you to NOT take the hit from new to used.

I need to go to a "car a holic" meeting tonight as once again:
1. I realize I am powerless over the smell of a good burnout.
2. I am letting G-force control my thoughts.
3. Yes, I will resist the temptation to drive country roads (when traffic is almost nil) by myself just so I can shift without hearing my Wife say, "if you don't slow down, I'm hitting you with my shoe."
