I have T-bills. What happens if the U.S. defaults?

They won't "default" - the priority will be to pay on the paper, then pay defense, then whatever is left will go to SS, medicare, etc with shit getting cut after. As long as the outstanding paper is < 100% of GDP there won't be a default.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was a Nat Geographic show that pointed out if Yellowstone blows, we're all dead.

I think that was the same show that pointed out that the ozone layer would be completely descimated, making the growth of plants impossible, our skin would burn just walking outside, and CO2 levels would be lethal.:eek:

I didn't watch the entire show. I had it on in the background as I was running equity scans, so hope I'm not talking out of school.
