Hi MikeQuote from Mike805:
My intention wasn't to give CW the benefit of the doubt, I'm just not a reactive person.
To tell the truth it didn't even sound like you were giving him the benefit of the doubt in your post; I was just saying that to try to get him to answer the quesiton, but clearing up his contradictions and lies isn't coolie-bop's strong suit. Sorry about the misattribution.
Just to let you know, I've seen it and I know it's hard to see someone you care for doing that to themselves. Just one more thing - I would be willing to bet that your Mom actually is a very bright person. I know it's a massive generalization, but the vast majority of people that I've met who suffer from mental illness have been extremely bright. I hope she is doing better soon.
To put it in context, my Mother is bipolar and currently off her meds. . She thinks she's the smartest person ever and will never listen to another perspective
my goal was to explain to the potential newbies (whom I'm hoping read this thread for entertainment value only) a serious point: switching from one market to another will not make one a profitable trader. That's a fact. Understanding the cost of doing business is step one
And you achieved it. I did the same thing on coolie-bop's other thread when he was spouting off about some weird strategies that no newb should ever try to emulate.
I have to admit, it is a little bit funny how easy it is for him to hook you all.
