a lot of proprietary traders left off trading stocks to start trading Emini's for similar reasons of seeking basket trading through the futures instead of individual trading of stocks and always missing the moves.

you might want to talk with Don Bright and consider what they could offer you at this point in your career...seriously,

that's the best positive advice I could offer freely.....
 
Agreed. However the obvious can be quite important.

In order to have a career, one has to approach the work in a professional way.

What I get from the posts, is lack of committment, lack of education, lack of discipline and on the practical side, no edge to trade.

Suggesting that one cannot make good money trading futures (indexes or physical commodities) is silly at best. That world exists and there are scores of successful and not so successful participants trading it as we speak. You just have to have the guts to go out and make it work.

The example I offered is meant (for those capable of abstract thought) to show that it doesn't happen overnight, BUT once you pay some dues, and get a winning game, you can make a nice living.

I am not so sure that Don could help Coolweb. I think you have to be willing to subordinate your personal agenda in order to learn from others, and I don't see it in any of Coolweb's posts. What I see instead is mostly adolescent complaining. Not a good sign.

Mike posted here pointing out that you have been providing misleading information, and provided a detailed explanation. He is giving you the benefit of the doubt. Most of us believe that you are just making all of this up as you go along. But he gave you credit for actually placing trades, as opposed to paper trading, which is what you are really doing, right?

You said you would respond after trading hours. However, you seem to have some time to post - how many is that in the past few hours?

Why is that, coolie-bop? Did you forget?

By the way, I just wondered if you still have that $340,000 cash advance out on your credit card? Or have you paid that off?

However, my question was this; if you have the time to post so much during the trading day and 'trash talk and do nothing', as you described it, why haven't you given the response to the poster who suggested that you have provided misleading statements on this thread? You yourself said you thought it was a good post and that you would respond when you had more time. But you have all this time for 'trash talk and doing nothing'. Sorry, I am not very smart but I don't get it!!

Also, I noticed you didn't mention anything about that $340,000 cash advance you took out on your credit card. Have you paid that off yet?
