I have lost over half of my net worth/life savings trading forex.

Possibly flamed out, hasn't posted for some months, just a young person.
I think there would be a high turnover in this craft especially youngsters as it takes resilience to keep it up after losing money countless times.
This is a lonely sport, best suited to lone wolf types in the initial years.
And of course, too many people get into forex thinking it will be easy because of all the shameful marketers.
