I have bought Al Brooks' Trading Course

Atm, i can say that concepts i have taken aboard from the course have been helpful and opened my mind up to possibilities. Imo, they have already contributed to myself profiting to the tune of thousands of dollars.

And that folks - is what its all about (when using/ studying/ reviewing another's stuff)

Just because dratsum got me all wound up, I want to reply to this. Here we have yet another example of someone who is saying they actually had a chance to trade with NoDoji. Trust me, I don't give a shit now, but NoDoji and so many other people who are very profitable right now have said that they had many people to watch during their journey. They saw expert traders putting on trade after trade in real time.

All you guys out there calling those of us who are struggling bad names and whatever have to realize that many of the profitable traders today had a very lucky and positive experience from some mentor somewhere along the way. Those of us still working on this haven't had access to any of this. The closest we have come is seeing screen captures of a few statements of profitable trades. So please get off your high horses as if we are asking for everything on a platter and be happy that you got the chance to see traders in action.

I said this exact same thing in this post here where I also came to this conclusion about how so many experts today actually had a start by watching other experts traders.

Even Surfer was/is inspired by VN, no matter that VN blew up twice, he obviously taught Surfer SOMETHING.

Resentment and a desire to destroy brooks and everything he stands for. In some cases these antagonists (at least in my opinion, the way I read them) ...are intent on destroying everything good or constructive.

How is making hostile accusations and blanket statements constructive on your part? Maybe Al Brooks isn't a charlatan for everyone, but he may be for some people. My purpose for posting here is out of a desire to prevent the destruction of other aspiring day traders.

Ya, you see VN is a proven successful entity who teaches how to think about the markets. Yes, he blew up due to personal flaws.

However, unlike your et gurus-- i can point to a dozen plus $100 million plus traders and hedge fund managers who are known as extremely successful in the business who say that they learned how to trade from VN.

See the difference between a real mentor and the bogus morons folks are pointing to on this thread??

Evidence of success in this biz is hard to hide. There is not one really truly succesful trader who names these anonymous trading cult leader types as being instrumental in their success.

Yet, the same losers keep following them like lost lemmings hanging onto a few wins and promises of plans and discipline. Its disgusting.

No sarcasm. Pure truth. Where are the successful students of your trading gods?

I don't have idols, I am mostly self-taught, although not without the help of information that I gathered from posters on Elite. If I was to name one it would be Buy1Sell2, but he isn't selling any koolaid on the other hand.

Brooks has written many books. Pick any of them. Pick something you believe is incorrect or too vague to be useful or otherwise supports your allegations in your Al Brooks – Al Crooks, Charlatan topic.

Post the page number and name of the book. I might learn something out of the necessity of having to explain whatever it is you choose means to me.

Great! That is what ET is all about. I learned tons of stuff on elite trader and gained tremendous value in other areas of life from people I met here. However, NONE of them are the mentor types this thread is referencing.
