Agreed. Its funny to read that so many traders (maybe they are in fact just investors) don't want a volatile market. I'm sure the expert traders are just killing it in these past few weeks. I of course understand how most people just want things to go up, but this isn't realistic. (I personally just want it to go instantly in the direction of my trade... be it long or short. )

Some are killing it, others are being wiped out. But you only hear from the winners.

One thing is certain, Marketsurfer could not make TA work him, everything else is debatable but his failure with TA is factual.

I used TA very succesfully for a number of years, was a member of the MTA, and retained to train a fund manager TA. Prior to my evolution of a trader and understanding that i was winning despite the TA rather than because of it.

Agreed. But just as much, on ET at least, we also hear from the losers. The winners stay quiet, with a post every now and then, but they do read to keep entertained while they rake it in.

I'd say the winners like Alphatrader and Brooks stay a little too quiet when it comes to specifics, but always mention their winners when it is to their benefit. Alphatrader still has to address how repeatable their trading strategy is. The HFT algorithms from the futures market are quickly taking over individual equities as well. Even if Alphatrader's strategy/strategies is profitable now I highly doubt it was 2 years ago, 5 years ago, 10 years ago, and 20 years ago, as well as 20 years into the future, as Brooks claims his is/was (price action will always be similarly decipherable).

I've never mentioned my winners or called out trades, nor do I plan to.

Don't trouble your head too much with other people's doubt. I for sure don't mind if you think I'm a good trader or a losing one.

@Q3D a little advice for you my friend (and I don't say it in a condescending manner).

There are people out there that work two jobs 6-7 days a week to make ends meet. You could probably make that in a trade or in a day. That, my friend, is a true blessing that has landed in your hands.

Keep focus and optimize you business. Worry less about what others are doing as it is a distraction to your business, unless it happens to be a positive discussion.

Yes @Visaria. You can use WMP and adjust the speed. Here is the link that contains the instructions.
