No more so than straddling the market with orders. You'd almost certainly be whipsawed by both orders getting filled and getting stopped out.
OP said he wanted to double his $100, I assume quickly. That's gambling.
Since you don't care if you lose it or double it here is a surefire way to lose it in 3 easy steps.
1. Take any position at your max leverage.
2. If you should get a quick profit take it immediately and enter another position, any position.
3. If you should get a quick loss don't close it out but let it ride until you can break even on the trade then close it out. Then enter another position, any position.
This is guaranteed to lose your $100 very quickly.
