I HATE the new CNBC!

I'm not a newby but a long time CNBC viewer...HATE it now and am not watching it...bloombergs is too busy for me...wish the cnn/fn show was on now so there would be an alternative....I know they check the ratings and if we all (who were watching) turn it off they may get the picture.

We have CNBC here on the Equities floor in midtown.... and it's MUTED!

I guess if I want to hear the babble I can tune into the audio channel on the turret, but very few people do, and I don't waste my time ever... i plug in my ipod and go to work.

I kinda wish they would switch it over to bloomberg. CNBC has *very* stupid graphics now. Stupid bobbing and weaving 3d charts, stupid silly ass blue circles and annoying sounds. Almost like I'm watching Blues Clues again with some quite UGLY folk on there.

There was word going around last year that Fox was setting up a rolling business channel to take on CNBC & Bloomy...

Not heard anything lately though??

Would be great to see Page Hopkins back in the saddle teamed up with Juliet Huddy :p

I do have CNBC for some news and i also like "RICK". But the childish, annoying, dumb noises are flat out disputing. The networks went through this silliness a few years ago and it all died out........I THOUGHT!!!!

Here it is resurrected, 10 times worse. I do not get Bloomie except from 6 am to 8 am in the morning. I also missed CNN/ FN when it dissolved.

Joe Kernan is a stroke minus a brain, Liz missed her calling, with her cutsy phoney smiles she was meant to be a greeter at a WAL-MART. Marie is kind of ok but that gal has a yap on her that just rattles on. Marie...give it a rest..............:eek:

I've only been trading for about a year. For the first months of trading I didn't have CNBC and was doing just fine with out it.
Maybe I should turn the TV off as I have not noted any advances in having it on.

Anyway, the biggest reason why I watch CNBC is to get the Crude price.
Unfortunatly now, with their new setup, the Crude Oil price comes on much less often than it did before.
