In any case, none of it helps in life and i put em straight into the watchlist, whenever someone uses phrases like ~ it sucks/i hate.
Next thing you know -

Yesterday truly was an unprecedented day when % change is factored in, i.e., a strong trend day down opening near the top and closing near the bottom without even a shallow retrace.
Not even during the financial crisis did we see a day like this.

Most of the days, market movement
is limited with some continuation and reversal signals.
occassionally, market moved tremendously with lots of continuation signals
(like what happened yesterday).
and our mind might not be tuned to take advantage of such situation.
after market moved tremendously, market might be untradable next day.

Meaning more than 75% of the moves in the market happen before the markets even open, for example this morning. Would have been nice to jump on early morning gains but the only way you could have had any of that risky opportunity would have been to buy the close yesterday for a clean 3% return.
Everything looks bad if you have no clue what's happening.
Well they can move it for less volume, which then sets the sentiment for the day, the day might do the opposite but that's only cause they've pulled it down to buy and to make the scared masses sell to them.
It's all a game to take $$$$'s from Retail, don't be ashamed about losing because they are good at it, if they wasn't so good at it, they wouldn't be doing it.
It's more to end the trade on the reversal. Sure you can see that too another way but i prefer using macd
