ES. It's usually chop until the annoucement and then an explosion. I wait until after the announcement.

Today is FOMC Minutes day. Not the full FOMC rate announcement day. Although the minutes do move the market, the 'explosion' is rarely on the same scale.

Yeah, that's true. Anything FOMC I like to avoid, but you're right. I mixed up my dates. I think I need more coffee.
