I guess it's Al Franken's turn in the barrel

Unfortunately for Al, the way these scandals are going these days is that after one harassment episode is told by someone and they apologize or explain the bejeesuz out of it, someone else comes out and reports another harassment by them every day for the next two weeks.

So I see that Funny Boy Al has done a vigorous mea culpa for his transgression and the woman has accepted his apology and all of that. And that is all good crisis management I guess. But if other allegations start rolling in then it's gonna be Bedtime for Bonzo for him particular if one of them occurred while he was Senator.

I think Al is Jewish but he might want to go down to the local Catholic Church and light a couple candles and say a few Hail Mary's just to increase his chances of making it through this with no further allegations. Maybe even sacrifice a couple goats.
 
I just heard some idiot on Fox saying it should be ok because Franken apologized and the woman "accepted." He apologized because there was embarrassing photographic evidence that he could scarcely deny. Otherwise, trust me, he would have denied it and you all know he would have. Just like he denied grabbing her head and jamming his tongue into her mouth, so I am a little confused about just what he apologized for? For the stuff he a couple of hours before denied doing? Interesting. I think they called that sexual assault and attempted rape when Judge Moore was alleged to have done the same thing. How can an "if anyone was offended" apology wipe that out?

What Franken did is disgusting no doubt, but Moore is a totally different matter. Moore's actions basically illegal and sick beyond anything.

But does it really? Would be interesting to hear an opinion from the attorney if there is one here. It might, but I have no idea. In the picture, it is clear that he is pretending, but he forcibly kissed her. No idea if this is a crime or not.

Anyway just sad how people behave. Why can't they take a No for what it really stands.

NOOOOOOOO you have that absolutely wrong. With Moore there are allegations but no actual evidence that has not been contradicted. With Franken, you have actual evidence and an admission.

You cannot possibly give Franken a pass for what he knowingly did to a sleeping woman. It is beyond disgusting. It is an actual sexual assault.

Hm, aren't people being convicted on witness accounts without 100 proof?

Too many different people spoke about Moore. It would be borderline of impossible to make them all lie and coordinate. Their story can only hold together if they tell the truth.

Once again, no idea if what Franken did is illegal. Like I said, would be interesting to hear from attorney.

Btw, I am not defending Franken one bit.

I am going to guess that if it were Roy Moore or Donald Trump in that picture that you would not need to consult with an attorney to form an opinion.

I wonder how some of you would feel if that had been your wife or daughter flying home on a business trip by herself, asleep and some asshole decides to take a picture of himself grabbing her boobs.

With Judge Moore, at worst we have an awkward country boy in a small town in rural Alabama who backed off when told no. All the women in that town over 21 were probably all married and had three kids.

Franken was a sophisticated NYC actor who was mad at Tweeden because she blew him off. So he decided to humiliate her while she was asleep. What a woman's champion you have there.

No doubt the party of Clinton will make the usual allowances, even as they run around shrieking about Judge Moore.
