I'm not that surprised they called a cab, though.... What's the second-hand market for your phone? Say, $750? Suppose they average 1 phone a day?? That's around $200K annual income, tax-free? Why bother walking?

Yeah, no big deal, wasn't the first time. Gets better over successive trials.
Obviously. Not much they can do unless I get a SWAT team to track my phone at 4 AM in the night.
I did recover my stolen phone once (told ya it wasn't the first time I was robbed) but it did require some thinking out of the box and coordination that only an IQ of 150+ is capable of.
Rather not talk about it.
Don't feel bad, because I plan to be the greatest grave robber of the 21 first century...
