Instead of looking at psychology as the problem, why not looking at the trading system itself as the problem because it is the one that generates the entry signal and does not stop generate entry signal before end of trading session or in condition that lead to mostly negative trades. Maybe you can establish statistics of his trade history to develop hypothesis why he has negative trades after positive trades and how to counter the issue.
Let's say, based on the statistics, his negative trades start to happen when he enter on the same direction of previous two positive trades, it is possible that most entries of the negative trades are at the end of the trend. If that is the case, he can revise his trend identification methodology for trend reversal and sideway.

., gotta give him credit though he got good posts else whereVery good thought oshjdf, this is clearly understandable as i am a systematic trader, but i cant apply it to him, he is NOT systematic, still primarily discriminatory and uses pattern, he has rules of what he trades and how he finds them, intricate rather, but beyond my understanding since its day trading jargon and indicator i do NOT use, one thing for sure is he is not trading on a whimp he is deep in his knowledge of the criteria, the selection etc etc etc, but he remains discretionary, the fact he is that i believe is the underlying the of the problem, at least based on my experience, when i was discretionary i never made money, it was only when i turned fully systematic that i managed to eeek it out
His results is as mentioned, but if you were to pick the pattern there is no way, in the sense of he can show you a set up that works, but i can find that same set up where it did not work, thus it boils back to the fact he respects his stop loss, when he has not got that big gain yet, but does not after he is up highly for the day

Later you double down on your commentary to then ADD in via stating old people should be left to die. Has your views about giving your illness to others...you changed your views about what is going on in the world with the Coronavirus (e.g. only old people living in Italy) or you still bragging about it...is it really just like the flu as you stated ???
Sorry, I just had to set the record straight (again) about what you're truly pssst off about considering you had no prior issues with me until I called you out for your commentary about Covid-19.
P.S. Padutrader is still psssst too because back in March he stated there's in fact an appoved vaccine for Covid-19. I called him out about that too and he too believes I have mental issues.

The old, want to go out on a high don't want to give profits back, it's odd every time I do this, the market never changed direction and gives me a break
Up 5K yeah, 1 more trade then I give up, I'm down $200 not having that, average down, it's near SL move SL, average down more, ohhh I'm down 10K I'll call it a day, 5seconds later market rallies in opposite direction, every damn time.
The issue and only thing that makes sense is, we are all living in a personalised simulation within a simulation, it never lets us personally fail or get ahead it sucks!!
