It was wrong for the kid to wave the gun around at people but he didn't do that to the cops. When I was a kid I had a bb gun that I used to go around shooting but I don't remember getting shot dead by a cop.

What's actually is that yesterday's labor report stated 325,000 new jobs. Great! But what kind of jobs are being created? Do they pay well? In spite of this good news we still have the labor participation rate the lowest in 35-40 years. Further, with all these new jobs why are food stamp recipients not dropping? Food stamps were never meant to be a long term means of buying groceries. Rather, they were intended as a short term band aid to help people in rough times. But these days a lot of people feel they're entitled to them forever.

You didnt get the memo? According to the liberal braintrust, for every person we put on food stamps, we create an extra half a job. It would be idiotic to cut food stamps because it is so damn stimulative to the economy.

Yep. All of the new jobs are service jobs that don't pay much. And there are millions that are now off of the unemployment rolls that aren't counted anymore when it comes to the unemployment rate. It's all crock by the government to try and make things look good.
