The whole point of this guys story is that Debbie Blabbermouth Shultz did a great job because she subverted the will of the people and got the establishment candidate to win, where this Pribeus failed to do so. So according to this Matt Bai douchebag, it is the job of the party to jam a candidate down the people's throat regardless who they want.

It really makes you wonder what these Republicans are thinking. They have a candidate that's already ahead of Rotten Hillary despite the lack of support in the GOP. They need to unify and get behind him, with all the dirt that is there to throw at Clinton and Trump's immunity for leftist's smear he will demolish her.

he already has to deal with Pence. How many more establishment republicans do you want him to fight at the same time? As long as they are against him that's good enough for me. If they start liking him I'll start worrying.
It really is pathetic though when Ryan has to go public and explain he doesn't like Russia. They are terrified of the media. Both sides are betting on just how stupid people are. Trump is the only one who treats me like an adult. Republicans think I am a teenager and democrats think I am in kindergarten.
