You are right it's not the high school kids that make the decisions, big bucks, and control the country. But it's the educated and smart people, mostly. And nobody looked down on the working class. But a country and its future should not be controlled by a few clowns at the bottom who think they are so special because they are wiping the factory floor and get replaced by cheaper labor tomorrow. If a floor cleaner is too inconvenienced to upgrade his work skills then he or she fully deserves to be replaced by someone who works harder and puts in more efforts. In addition advances in technology make low skilled labor obsolete. It really is that simple and has always been that way. A person who thinks learning and advancement ends with high school is simply stupid. Fortunately there are only a few such deluded individuals, hence the more should we not have them dictate our politics and life.
I have done this in the past and the not so distant past. No, I am not innocent. I have said repeatedly that there are no clean hands, be it in politics or anything else. That said, all of us maintain the right to point out someone else's B.S. when warranted. So yes, I get a little miffed when someone looks down their nose at the working man/woman, the people who built this country. It annoys the hell out of me when I hear this "educated voter" term as if a college degree makes one of some super intellect. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If all these "educated" people are so fucking smart why is everything so completely fucked up? It ain't like the high school graduates are running the country, making all the decisions, implementing the policies. This is the work of the "educated". What we need to recognize is that what passes for "educated" doesn't necessary walk hand in hand with actual intelligence. To date lets just say I ain't exactly impressed with the results of all these self appointed intellectuals, regardless of political party.
