"I didn't think the sequester would ever really kick in"

Quote from Ricter:

No one believes that....
:D

Not THAT "argument" again. Just because you and your big government buddies choose to ignore reality doesn't mean that "No one believes that".

What a way to justify your rationalizations. Simply keep repeating to yourself "everyone agrees with me...everyone agrees with me..."

Let me put it another way. Do you think business and now government are worried that with an increase in taxes and reduction in government spending, the opposite of Keynesianism, the economy is going to improve?

Increasing taxes is the opposite Keynesian?

Quote from Ricter:

You keep saying, "for the good of the country", but the entire planet, with the exception (up 'til now) of these reps, understands that in a tightly integrated, mixed economy like ours, sharp reductions in government spending are bad for the country.
NONSENSE

Quote from Ricter:

No one believes that. If you don't think government spending can create jobs, and thus demand, you're insane.

It certainly creates the illusion of jobs created by the free market but the net production must be less than zero.

Quote from Max E. Pad:

I have one more vote to cast against obama, and either way that goes, im assuming i will be so frustrated that i will never vote again.....

Too bad you're giving up on expanding your mindset to accept other ideas than those fed by biased Fox, Rush, Rove and the rest. To give up on voting because you have so much misguided hatred of Obama is too bad, even sad. Obama will win, you won't vote, well, I guess that is a win-win after all. JK, wish everyone would vote, even if the wrong way.

"Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) said Wednesday that he didn't think the sequester would ever really kick in, and that the so-called Super Committee designed to find cuts to stop the sequester would not be effective.

I dont know whats worse, If he is serious, it means that he is completely incompetent, and if not he is lying, either way what a dumb thing to say,

I always thought it was a way for them all to wash their hands clean of the whole thing, so they could get away with the cuts and still say they tried not too.....

If he was really that easily fooled then he has no business being in charge of making decisions tht effect so many peoples lives...
Walsh voted against the budget bill. One of 22 Republicans to vote against the bill. As a Tea party member Walsh wants the cuts to happen....He is saying that he thinks Congress will back out of the agreement. That is what is happening now. He was exactly right

Quote from Max E. Pad:

Four years of keynesian economics has left us exactly where we started, only we doubled the debt. and we didnt bother to fix the problem, which inevitably has to be fixed at some point.

It fixes itself eventually.. the entire culture collapses, warlords take over, men are men and women are glad of it.
