Well Cathy, I don't think I've ever been rude to you. And one thing is certain I do not as a rule swear or even insult others, unless pushed to extremes.

You've been smooth-talked by your "friend" mr inandlong, but he is a snake and others will see it even though you never will. He does know how to smooth-talk and put up the gentlemanly front, while in private he goes slithering about.

That is actually more disturbing than someone like daniel_m who makes it clear he's all about putting others down and being rude. At least there's an honesty to that approach.

It's like the difference between Klingons and Romulans if you're a Star Trek watcher. Inandlong is the Romulan.

I just get upset when people pick on the moderators.
The poor guys have to read all our collective drivel
and do not even get paid for it!
We need to give them a break, and some thanks.
I have had a LOT of my posts deleted.
It never bothered me.

OTOH, there are moderators who use their status to attack members with impunity. All that members can do about it is squawk. "Moderator" does not imply mental health.

I don't generally pick on moderators. Show me one time I have ever complained about any other moderator. But this one picks on myself, and others as well. He doesn't get paid, and I think the power trip he is on is his compensation. If there were valid grounds for my post to have been deleted, I would have accepted it.

p.s. the guy is a smooth-talker. The sort who will be Mr. Gentlemen to all the ladies (like yourself) who get blinded by that to the fact of what he a jerk he can be to other males.
