I cant make trading work for me

I want to build my own success.
I have an idea for you.
Go with what you already enjoy doing.
Paper trade for the rest of the week and just let the trades fly. Let 'er rip.
Whatever is driving you, just give in to it.
Forget Any consideration for discipline to rules or plans.
You may have a knack for pressing on in your own way.
If you make money in the remainder of the week, then continue into next week.
If you are net positive at a rate that's suitable for you, then look at shifting into
real world application.
Best of luck and Balls to the Wall.

The problem is that I do not want someone else to trade for me. And why would this someone else trade for me? If he is profitable he does not need my money to be more profitable. I want to build my own success. No matter how hard it may be. It is hard. It might be impossible. It has a huge toll on my mental health. But there are people who have made it. I also want to make it. As for the algorithmic trading, you are absolutely correct on that part... But my hands are already full and I can't add yet another endeavor aiming to accomplish at the moment...

P.s: Today I took a single trade, felt scared jumped ship...

If you think the strategy is profitable so that the designer doesn't need to seek funding, that is wrong. If your statement is correct, there will be no Facebook IPO, Apple IPO, Tesla IPO.

Why? Because if Tesla has a profitable business, why does it go IPO? And why there are AAPL, FB, GOOG, AMZN these stock tickers? The reason behind this is that they need funding to grow bigger.

Therefore, if a trader develops a strategy and he only has 100K USD while the Max capital of the strategy is 100M, he needs your money to get richer and you can also benefit from him.

Try either with a demo account or a micro account to test the strategies. If not, I’d suggest you get the basics cleared. Sometimes it’s just a minor tweak required. So, just put a halt to your trading, take a break and then after you’re sure about your strategies and skills, start with a small account. This way you won’t be worried about losing a major chunk in case you lose.

Did you try to find out whether your broker’s the problem or not? It’s important to have a broker offering an array of tools and instruments for better trading.

There is no point in risking your money if you have no idea about what you are doing. You need to demo trade for some time to be able to make some profits in the market.

So... I've been trading since September 2020 with an account in which I progressively deposited 24000 USD. In the first 2 months of trading I was doing relatively well, I managed to earn a total of 1600 dollars. Then, as I got more knowledge and got into a quantitative analysis called The Strat, I stopped making any profits, quite the contrary. There are numerous other people who are doing well, but I suck so hard at it. Now only that, but I am also very scared of entering swing positions, or holding over night. It has now been over a month that I haven't got a single winning day. And this is devastating. It is not that I lose a ton of money, it is that I am really failing on a daily basis and my self confidence is currently at the worst level of my entire life.

Some insight/help ?

You should press Max and Market on your 401K. Do this decade after decade.

Why In the world would you think you are going to beat superior competition including algos, lower trading costs, faster excecutions, faster and superior information flow, and so on?.

Gurus-for-hire will not help you Expensive learning material and monthly services will not help you

Most gurus-for-hire are hustlers who used to win, never won, or are front running students in their char rooms.

Try and develop a personal relationship with a mom and pop sitting at home day trader and see if he will mentor you for free. See if you can work for him. The problem you face is you probably will not find one.

If you want to better understand what you are up against, I suggest the book: Traders of the New Era. The author posts on these forums and is looking to sell you nothing at all-- other than his book.
