I can't buy my option because the price doesn't match the tick size of the product

Hello, I saw a great options trading opportunity. I wish to buy at the price of 3,30, but it's giving me this message: "your price of 3,30 does not match the product's tick size. A correct price can be divisible with 0,2500". Can someone please explain to me what this means and how I'd be able to buy this because I do, honestly, not know what tick size is right now, and I'm not quite getting it.

Please help me out here, anyone! :)

Looks like your broker is right + a blessing in disguise. I got a bad fill with a market order, today ; but that is good. As IBD notes[stocks/ETFs] ''never quibble over a quarter + miss the move''
 
Assuming equity options, between 3 and 4 the tick size is either 5 ct or 10 ct...

Does your platform limit you to 25 ct? Never heard of it, but maybe a way to speed up execution of its customers... Doesn't sound too good...
 
The message is saying that your price needs to be divisible by 0.25. And it also explains that this is the tick size, or minimum price increment. (although I see it isn’t entirely clear)
 
Thanks, everyone. I was able to fill my order at 3.00. I'm using Degiro, btw. Really cheap and good broker for EU citizens, but not the best at options, tbh.
