I cannot get this to work!

Thats the thing, with the linksys, there was a monitor icon in the bottom right corner of the screen, even when it didn't work it was there, now theres nothing there. The lights on the router are on, same with the card. After all the bad things I heard about netgear, I think it would be funny if I had to take this back (again) and get a netgear. All help appreciated.

PS. I have a Netgear wireless router on the advice of Nitro. Got hooked up in 10 minutes on an NT4 machine and an XP machine. No problems over the last 3 months at all.

How exactly do you do this with the wireless card/router setup? I want to make sure I haven't missed something in terms of security.
