I cannot close currency balances in IB TWS

I cannot close currency balances in IB TWS.

When I try (using FXCONV) I get this error message: "FX trade would expose account to currency leverage."

But I have only invested 10% of Net Asset Value.

Has anyone tried the same?
 
Yeah I have an old IB account with weird currency balances around as well. I've simply ignored it for a few years, intend to deal with it at some point if returning to use IB again.
 
Using a small residual balance worked. However, it is not a cash account. Don't know why I can't use FX leverage after being moved to Ireland.
