No one will say they lost money.

I even p**sed out the office back window rather than going across the house to bathroom.

That ain't nothing I entered a short-term 6 minute position today while trading the SPOOS. ( I did my secretary doggie-style)

Later I crapped in a pie tin.

This is just too f*ckin' unbelievable after 4 years of quietude.

Bring on the "carry-trade" meltdown as it will be known.

Yes we may stabilize but if this shit comes unglued look out below!!!

#1: Tick charts, not time charts

#2: Prior experience helps. We've been saying for months now this type of action is coming... extreme low volatility IS ALWAYS resolved by extreme high volatility. Shades of 2000 - 2002

Currently one of my biggest profit days ever... one hour into the cash session. Been banging keys here since 6:30am est.

I even p**sed out the office back window rather than going across the house to bathroom.

Too much info, but true story

My friend, that was a pleasure to read.

This volatility could last two weeks, two months or two years.

You need to develop a new strategy, if the VIX falls back to 10, you can get your old strategy back out again.

yeah i am having some probs adjusting as well, pnl extremely volatile and running losses getting out of control. was down 500 bucks per contract on 3 er2 trades before sob turns around and i close at a profit....got caught long into that nasty decline after the hod and took a serious hit. cant complain tho after almost a month without any down days, trading the mkt i know the least.

Real traders typically make a killing in environments like this, so is it so surprising there are a lot of happy people around the last 3 days?

I must not be quick enough, its just to stressful, 50 point movies in YM in 90 seconds, to much for me.

I'm with you ...will return to trading when ranges contract.

Stops have to be too wide for me now.

Which is why a beginner should start off with stocks.

that's the bloody problem. how much room do u give, i decided not to use stops at all and worked ystdy but today didnt pan out. [i traded like shit overall tho] best thing may be arbing all day those mad quotes for a few ticks and take only a couple of directional trades on the best odds.
