Denver is about to kick out hundreds from their over burdened shelters. I can't imagine being on the street in Denver, it's cold as freak. All of the sanctuary cities are straining. In New York they have been closing schools to make room for the illegals.

There was a poll in Chicago that 97% wanted to work. Typically, in Chicago, undocumented immigrants are about 20- 25% of the immigrant population and can easily be absorbed into the communities.

It's a big deal in Chicago especially when it's Census time (the last one in 2020...taken every 10 years) because it will (not can) impact your property taxes, state & federal resources, health & education resources, fire departments, police departments, government politician representation et cetera.

Simply, the sooner the undocumented immigrants become documented immigrants that are working...the economy flourishes in Chicago.

Texas Governor Abbott knows the money statistics which is why he's trying to "flood" certain communities with undocumented immigrants to intentionally make it difficult for those communities to absorb the immigrants so that the communities can benefit.

Therefore, the sooner a city or state can get its undocumented immigrants to work...better for that state's economy and the more power/money they have in Congress.

Immigrants create new jobs by forming new businesses, spending their incomes on American goods and services, paying taxes, and raising the productivity of U.S. businesses. Immigrants are good for the economy, not the other way around. They work the jobs that most Americans do not want to do or too shameful doing.​

Immigrants pay more than $90 billion in federal taxes every year and receive only $5 billion in welfare. Without their contributions to the public treasury, the economy would suffer enormous losses.​

With that said, I do know my property taxes will increase if my city is having problems absorbing undocumented immigrants who are unable to work although a high percentage of them do want to work. Yet, I do understand it is better for the community in the long term...the same for its economy...my 2nd home is in Evanston, Illinois (north suburbs of Chicago).
