I agree, the scalping game has been pretty much non-existeent, for several reasons. More defined trading until the regulators take care of some of the concerns.
A lot more automation, pairs, algo's etc. have been where my traders have gone. I must say that I see a nice strong light at the end of the tunnel, 2010 is proving to be much better than the last few months of 2009.
