At least you are trying to be mostly on the selling side. Just so you know, this is basically a giant scam, just like bullshit art. What do I call bullshit art? Art form that pretty much anyone can do like taking pictures of canned food and color it, a la Andy Warhol.

So as an NFT artist, you will contribute to society absolutely NOTHING, but you may convince some people to part from their money.

Godspeed to you on your journey. The IRS should treat it as an art business by the way.

But can't anyone also take a canvas and start splattering paint on it and call it art? It's no different.

I actually plan on selling for cheaper prices, and actually putting some time into making each piece. Unlike most of these NFT artists that think an 8 bit cartoon character that looks like it's rolling on molly is going to sell for millions...

1. Sure it is the same and I call those buyers morons too.

2. Then your approach is wrong. NFTs are for scamming, you are trying the honest way and nobody cares about that. It is the get rich quick times.

There is a place for art in the NFT space, even though it might be less than 50%. With Metaverse taking off, it won't be long before more NFTs are more widely used in that space. So there is a demand for it, and if none of my work sells, then at least I'll have a collection of art that I made.

It's all to me a hobby and not a money making business.

Oh boy, the other big scam. Why would anyone want an original in a FAKE universe?

Anyhow this is my personal approach to art: If I want to buy an original, I want it in physical form. If I want a digital art, I am getting it for free most likely or for very cheap. There is no difference between original and copy, that is the whole point of digital.

And if you can copy something UNLIMITED times, why should it have ANY kind of value? There is a reason why art sellers come up with the idea of LIMITED prints.

Hell, even Bitcoin's selling point is that only 21 million will ever exist. (practically not true though)

One trick what NFT sellers do is to pretend that they were able to buy an NFT accidentally because it was mispriced.

""You are surfing Opensea. You see a Trendy Turtle JPeg listed for 1ETH. You know the price of Trendy Turtles is usually 100ETH. Clearly someone has made a mistake listing it.""

So you think the totally worthless Trendy Turtle's price is somewhere between 1 and 100 ETH.
