I am proud of America

Quote from Brandonf:

I did not vote for Barak Obama, but I am proud of America right . This election went off exactly how it should have, where problems arose they got addressed, the candidate of the majority has won and he is going to go into office. We will not have to go through the pain of having the popular vote winner lose the electoral vote that we had in 2000 and that has continued to be a source of bitterness ever since. I hope that Obama is the greatest president we have ever had and that we can start to heal as a country, we need it.
I do hope that the Democrats will remember that about 45% of the country did not vote for them. I hope they can attempt to be civil in convincing those of us who did not to continue to support Obama. I don't think that many people would make a case that Bush was the "uniter" that he promised to be, but I hope that Democrats do not fall into the traps of power and figure that two wrongs will make a right. Bush will go down in history as a terrible president and leader, much of the cause of this is going to be his complete disregard of anyone on the other side, and I hope that President Obama does not repeat this mistake.

So we're not "Democraps" anymore now that we will be running the show?

I never said you were, I think you have me confused with other people or should reread my posts. I did not want Obama to win, but now that he has I think that what is most important is for all of us to work together.

Nice thought, wonder if there is any truth to it...

It would be surprising if there were any truth to it, I just made it up for a laugh.

In a democracy two wolves and a lamb get to decide what is for dinner. Liberty is when a well armed lamb opposes the tyranny of the majority.

Classy post, Brandon.

too bad his vote is unclssay.

he wins both ways.. he won't vote for obama but if he does real good by the US 'see i'm a 'back-handed' supporter..

"i'm proud to be ameerakin!"

BS

:D

It's too bad voter fraud tainted this election tho
Are you possibly referring to the voter registration fraud? Because there is a distinction. The voter registration fraud was perpetrated by lazy assholes. For voter registration fraud to actually become voter fraud, "Mickey Mouse" and all the others would have had to show up at the voting stations and provide adequate identification enabling them to vote.

That's not what I said dumb ass. I will always admit that I did not vote for Obama in 2008. Why though would I hope for anything but the best for America? I am an American and want the best for my country, that means I hope that whoever our President is turns out to be great. What the hell is so hard for you whackadoo's to understand about that?
