Right... I forgot it was half of the loss on the touch. It's been awhile and I didn't get to really get to play them myself much. Just as I was getting into it, the boxes magically vanished from Oanda. lol

lol I wonder what happened?

Long a Oct 4 .7500 / Oct 4 7600 CAD 1:3 backspread in calls at .05 credit because of crude, MXP, ZB, and Destriero. I did the backspread instead of simply buying calls because I’m wary of buying “Weak sisters”, which CAD was at the time. I felt CAD was in a polarized situation so I took a big gamma position that would not lose much money if CAD went the other way. I got my drinking money back and then some so far!

I don't post this to rub anyone's nose in it. Anyone want a shot at the title? AND more than 100 pips on the day. Om nom nom.

the position size mentioned is way over my head and not qualified to comment, but as far as the trade logic goes, corr(PL, logic) = 0.. might make a killing but it wouldn't be due to the logic if it can even be called logic

#NULL!

Fail.

I thought you positioned for a long term trade but then gloat like a newbie who made his first 100 pips? Outright strange. You got rewarded for the mess in the UK which neither you nor anyone could predict. It benefitted sterling.

Fail.

I would go speculatively short DXY right now, around those levels. But there's no confirmation, still shorting strength. For a better setup and risk to reward, i'd wait for the top to form and have something to work off.

I didn't make any money on the trade, but i'd like to brag about calling the top by 5 pips :D Not the one to call tops/bottoms, but the surgical precision is somewhat satisfying when it all comes together.

Anyways, good job. You've made more money than i have ahaha lol.fk

Stranger still is your proclivity for losing money.
