Ahh, the beloved vol on vol marketWhat if you trade vol on futures, but also trade the VX, which is a volatile future? Oh dear.

How about selling vol on vol of vol, take a guess

That sounds about right for 10m, though a tat wide. But not for 100m. I trade 50-100mil orders several times a month and can assure you fills are not to be had below 2 pips wide spreads, regardless of market hours.
You're right, I wouldn't expect you to understand the term "vol on futures". You are heavy on post count, and light on a lot of other things.
Oh man, I give up, lol. And the vol on vol of vol is VXX options. You'll have to re-examine my post, because I was editing my thoughts as I was typing it. I am the world's most anal-retentive editor.
So your preditiction is that an asset will touch a 15 year level within the next 12 years? How ridiculous. You would not even survive 3 years paying short usd roll charges that are implied in any asset with direct exposure to the USD. If you are unlucky you will even pay on the negative yield in the long exposure of multiple counter currencies. Dummie

I’d prefer you call me dummy. There is no law that requires a market to move symmetrically. Indeed, there is an argument that if the US continues its political and social course and the Europeans get their house in order, the unraveling of the US dollar could epic. By the way, my typical holding period is under a week. I not going to directly trade my calls or expect anyone else to. You knew that, right?
Still your prediction is pretty useless, "dollar goes down in the future".
I wasn't going to bring it up since we got off track with splitting terminology hairs. But since it is being brought up again... 1) I think it be inappropriate to hijack someone else's thread to explain exactly a long term macro play 2)In the spirit of not being redundant, by saying "I wholeheartedly agree" with Des, I am saying I share much/most of his view. 3)If you want to know the intimate details of the plays that I am positioning for then you are going to have to take me out on a date first. And just an FYI, I don't kiss on the first date, so you are going to have to work for it.
BWAHAHAHA!!!Iowa, I do not date anyone from flyover. ;-)
