I am looking for ideas about how to find an office for day trading

I live alone in an apartment in Boise, Idaho, which i share with 3 cats. I day-trade the ES.
It is difficult to trade from home because my cats are a constant distraction, mainly because they are bored. I have tried locking them in a room, or myself in a room, but they only meow until the door is opened. I also have problems getting up in the morning to trade. So I am beginning my search to find a office. I have my lap top, all I would need is a desk and Internet access. I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions, please, about where or how to find an office.
 
Holy Cat! Google for office suites or office space in your area. You will likely find offices set up for professionals. They are often preset up with desks and chairs. You will pay extra for internet access or a TV connection. There is likely a common kitchen, conference room and bathrooms. This will be less expensive then finding office space on your own to lease. The firm I work for uses space like that in NYC.

What I had in mind was an small room inside of a commercial establishment. Some place where I could go and close the door behind me, and day-trade in privacy. I want to be able to come and go as I please, and I don't want to feel odd or out of place going there. When i did a search for key word "office" in this forum, though, I realized that most day traders have a different idea of an office. People posted comments about renting a desk which apparently includes a computer, a broker, and trading platform, and the room is shared with other traders. I am curious to know more about this kind of arrangement. Is the idea I had in mind unusual? The idea of renting a small room in a commercial or business establishment where I could close the door and be left alone.
 
Ya, the small room in a commercial establishment/office building is a good option, if you want to trade in privacy. Either you can look for this yourself via online search in your area, or call a commercial real estate broker. Regarding the option to share a room with other traders, I think what the posts are referring to are prop firms that have established offices with a group of traders, however I highly doubt you will find such a group in Boise. If you want to trade with others in the same room, one suggestion is to post on Meetup.com and create a "Boise Daytrader Group" for example, and solicit other traders who may want to share office space and costs of a lease/expenses.
