I am long the MNQ for a little while starting now

In my mind I see the bias Long and see all these "MicroTrends" happening on this journey. I must work to remember the longer term perspective for this trade. Funny these trades are journeys and not really trading in my opinion...but I am treating this thread like a Journal to record what is on my mind and hopefully some master traders will chime in. You know the market moves around to shake traders out.

I will not be pleased until I can make a profitable longer term short trade though...wait...I am assuming that this long trade that I am in is successful...anything can happen.

So now I am going to walk away from the screen and have lunch WHILE IN THE TRADE. This takes some getting used to. This is "Big Picture" trading without precision...

All I am suggesting is, with no tone in my voice, to start a journal thread. You have had me on ignore for so long that I do not even recall if you have a journal here, in the journal section of the forum. 'Twas all I was saying. Geez, you are easily ticked-off on little nothings you perceive to be something other than they are.

I went ahead and exited at 8507.25 for 140 MNQ points. I then set my charts to MNQH2020 before I forget. The volume seems ok now in the new contract.

I am flat now. I added some more signals so now I have 16 different signals looking for a trade for me. I find these systems in the TradingView public library. I have the premium subscription to TradingView so I have 2 tabs of 8 charts. I then alter them to my liking working with longer term timeframes. It's really not that hard as I know what to look for and what I want. I believe I have looked at the majority of 8000 systems and indicators in Tradingview. I have literally spent months and have great fun looking at what some generous folks have shared. Some traders say that why would someone share a profitable system? Well maybe they have not...but with different combinations, timeframes, settings and instruments it would be impossible to keep from the public's eye something that would work...Maybe something works now that did not work earlier...I have not learned coding but I have become a System Configuration Expert. The bulk of the Tradingview public library is Bitcoin Trading systems and indicators but they cross over to Futures well.

I cannot start a Journal as I have not properly traded these signals long enough and I will be ripped apart in the Journals forum by the backtesters. I believe ET is for sharing and I enjoy writing this thread....but over there in the Journals well that is a bloodsport. Magna moderates the Journals forum well...and I do not want to cause him any unrest over there. Since I have so many signals I can go with higher winrates as there is always something firing off as I try to configure non-correlating systems...

The micros are so small I do not mind forward-testing live with real money.

I can post some more trades here as they happen but do not expect much. I like to configure systems more than I like to trade.

P.S. Sundays open (12/15/2019 16:00 AZ time) is going to be wild... one way or another. One part of me is sorry I am not long...another part of me is glad that I am flat.
