now you can know you know what each price bar is named and how that name fits into getting ready to measure the independent variable.

from that you will have all of the system of operation of the market variables available bar by bar for the flow of the market.
Our goal is simple. We extract the full offer of the market.
We use the Order of Events of the market to know ahead of time when to take profit segments. The event column is filled in for every bar by writing down what is true for the independent variable.
For making money, we note in the rightmost column the name of a trend End Effect when an End Effect occurs. This work drill is a few days away.
we also note the kind of turn which is occuring for each end event. there are just three kinds of turns.
Making money comes down to two turns. the n-1 turn and the n turn. n - 1 tells you the money making is coming next.
All these n- 1 and n turns are paired on one table. I nemd it the Modrian table. And I handed out the table in 8 panels, each a different color. I did this so there would be no ill feelings on the part of anyone with respect to taking the full offer of the market.
half the panels are "fail safe" and half are routine. hot colors are for failsafe and cool colors are for the routine.
the n -1 turn appears and you know you know it is apossible n -1 moment.
It has a name. Go open the Modrian 3 ring binder and go to the modrian table and locate the n -1 in the appropriate panel. and in the left column of that panel. You look at the right column to see the array of possible solutions.
20% of your learning is in the above paragraph and in the paragraph below.
think. you go the the appropriate panel. The n - 1 is NOT there.
This means that the next event is NOT a profit taking turning point.
Or
you go and the n -1 item is listed.
OKAY now just watch for one of the right panel column items listed.
you have an event. It IS listed and you reverse.
OR
it is not listed and you hold.
This is really tough to think up as an invention. So most people have not done this. BUT I did. Since I did I gave it way by posting it in ET a while back.
So you have the table and the panels all complete and ready to use.
One fifth of making money is in this post. read it over the weekend and get the table and get the panels and get them into a binder and on one page in that binder.
also get your screen set up so you can have your first look at a market in operation. this is a great advantage to have.

I copy my master 10 copies a clip. I paper clip them and use one clipful a day.
I punch them as pages 1 through 6 and add four pages of chart prints and two pages of P&L.

I am attaching a log in Excel. I am sure I have some of the headings incorrect as they were hard to read. If you will give me corrections it will take a very short time to change them.
There are two options in this Workbook. The tabs at the bottom allow to print 5 pages at a time that are pre-numbered or the other tab allows for print one un-numbered page.
If you only want one page you can right click on the 5 pages tab and delete it.
