intraday trading I made money so its good, nice


but my long term position was short, now I didn't lose much
but I hate the fact that time was wasted

its not about money its about wasted time

time I will never get back

If you're sad you should think of your favorite things.

You know,

Raindrops on roses and Jack Hershey trading;
Entering orders that are fading;
Using SCT until the closing bell rings;
These are a few of my favorite things........
 
sounds like "results based" trading...

your time is only wasted if you are forever a net loser...

otherwise, the time you put on the screen today is just a nano second of the time you put there in your trading career, all of which constitutes your "session". you may have not made much today, but if you did what you were supposed to, according to your plan, it was perfectly executed...

agree with prior response, if not for sitting at the screen, what would you have done?

if something else, then I guess you are not really a trader...

it's like saying "I only took the winning trades"... hindsight is perfect!!
