I am bored of small wins. Would it be dumb to risk more to make it rich?

My returns are "sub-par relative" because of my own abilities, and not because of charts and "other useless price information or indicators" being sold to me.

By the way, I just exited that trade for a gain of 11.5 point today in the MNQ.

That makes me happy.

Welcome, to the REAL.

Profit BOOM!!! Haven't traded today, no profit, but also no loss, back in Sim, till I find a method that works for well every market condition, back in 6 months, reality SUCKS!!

No worries. After the G20 and the Fed at end of July we'll have some direction.

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. There will be more uncertainty about the Fed's next move (as well as other central banks) along with other geopolitical issues, quarterly earnings, economic data, etc. Direction is never really clear except in hindsight. Of course you can always look at a chart and see which way the market is heading...and the answer is clearly "up" right now. That's all we know.

Works well in EVERY market condition? I would also be interested in that system. I don't think we got that, yet.

Account value is around 400k but I risk only 10k per plays. Was wondering to increase it to 100k or so since I realized at this rate I will never be rich.

Just wondering if anyone was in my shoes before and it paid off for them to take bigger risks

Only increase it on the sure winners.

OP hasn't been back since Page 1. He's playing some people and giving others a chance for some comic relief. And I need some comic relief...I get bored making $5K by 9:00 AM every trading day and spending the rest of my time at the beach

And if you think I'm serious, please check out OP's beach-front property in Kansas. He's also a real estate tycoon, but gets bored with his 5-figure transactions.
And read posts on ET in between trades/research/backtest...:D
