The other day i had to go to Owsley County Kentucky in the Appalachian Mountains. We had to stay overnight due to a business commitment. As im relaxing at night I decided to go for a jog in this white ghetto. As Im jogging , i soon realize this area is one of the poorest in the nation. I then say “ holy shit, im going to get robbed or maybe shot”. We all know poverty leads to violent crime. At least thats what we are told by the media.
As Im jogging past a group of very poor white men drinking a few beers, rather than rob or shoot me, they just said hello. I couldnt believe it!!! I guess poverty doesnt lead to violent crime. It must be something else.
