Trump is a lot of things. A politician isn't one of them. That's the number one reason they all hate him.

Bingo. It's a club and he ain't in it. Everything was fine and dandy so long as he was the billionaire playboy, they all wanted to be seen with him, but that doesn't him or anyone else a pass into the political club.

I think they read 'em correctly and that is why Bernie is not president. Bernie leads a mass of people (who are going to have their day, yet) who are a plausible threat to Capital.

He made outlandish campaign promises in order to get elected and never delivered on them
He hired all his cronies, pals and large donors for Cabinet positions even if they were not qualified
Nothing is ever his fault
He lies about everything even when there is a tweet or video to contradict him
He uses the office to enrich himself..

He’s had a lot of practice even before he took office. He has been making promises to stakeholders in his various ventures for years and then left them holding the bag.
