And here I thought that my (much) earlier appearance was going to have its usual and merciful effect of winding down this thread (or any other, for that matter). However, upon closer inspection, Sire, I note that you yourself have contributed a Herculean effort in keeping this fine boat afloat with post after consecutive post of your own. How splendid!
Now that your place in history is assured, you may wish to attach a moniker or title to your name that students of history will be better able to remember you by. For example, we had Alexander the Great, Richard the Lionhearted and so on. May I propose...Hypostomus the Preposterous?

...the thread was saved only because you mercifully decided to stay away. I cannot take credit for the prolixity (and nay, may I say it, the incomprehensibility) of the postings, for I am only emulating my beloved mentor. As Ogden Nash once ended a doggerel verse: Preposserous!

...as always, you are the perfect gentleman, even when duelling with Jack, or in this case a Jack sycophant. But I could never even aspire to be as good as Tampa. His domestic humor makes me hoot so loud that I hate him. A pity his life isn't even more dysfunctional, or he could keep us all in stitches continuously.

You have certainly permitted all to see what the cutting edge of infinite wisdom can produce when it comes to profitable traders, however, as I'm sure you are aware there are so many here who Soooo Looooong to find a system which is easily followed to improve their limp and hanging equity curve.
Oh masterful Hypo, could you under take to inflate the poor members most important concern, getting their smallness to rise rapidly, and remain so for a Looooong time ? I do however realize it would make you famous, and I can tell you seek neither fame or fortune as you already have both. Why, I am contributing my attention, of course, despite there currently being a deficit in that particular account. But then, as we all know, deficits don't matter, as Dick Cheney was quoted as saying.
Do I believe? I most assuredly and resoundingly do. In what, I as yet have no idea.
As for Jack, I really do not know who he is. I don't believe that I have ever read his posts. I try to stay away from threads that propose specific and fully detailed trading strategies. I generally find them as exciting and useful as a market consolidation in progress.
For some reason you continue to harp on the relationship between the equity index futures market and the underlying cash index. Kidding aside, I truly believe that very few people in this world can make real (as opposed to theoretical or even imaginary) money by looking at the "premium" between these two items. The rest of us are doomed to keep following this particular imaginary oasis into the desert until our accounts and dreams run dry. Of course, I see this eventuality through the eyes of my own, and very real, limitations. But hey, whatever makes you and your broker happy, right?
