The USA has never invaded a sovereign country for the purpose of making it part of the USA and then implying they will use their nukes to defend their actions.
Russia hasn't invaded any country with fake accusation of WMD, which resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths and totally destroyed country of 40 million people
The USA hasn't invaded a country claiming to save them from Neo-Nazis destroying them from within.
Put aside WMD and Afghanistan has a population of 40 million.
At least we had a reason to go in. Stayed too long just like the Ruskies.
Another example of where we we're attacked and responded... and Russia wasn't yet still attacked.
