Is this possible? It looked like it just came out of nowhere. So it does not seem like anyone here can say it will not happen because look how quick it happened in 1 or 2 years.

Maybe this is coming 4-5 years from now?

Germans printed money to pay off First World War debt to the French et al. in accordance with the armistice agreement. It was probably suspected that this would happen.

Well we are in debt to our eyeballs to the world, China,Russia etc.. At some point we will have to go on a similar plan to pay these debts off by printing them away. Just like Germany post WW I

Hyperinflation will eventually happen but not for at least 15 more years.

And yes, it will be sudden just like the housing bubble bursting. And the pundits will all talk about how they never saw it coming etc..
