Anyone got brokers in Bahamas? (EG. Suretrader) I just opened an account and wired money today than they told me this happened and the wire will be delayed.
It was in Nassau that's the exact same location my broker runs business.
Just great! Anyone else experiencing the same issues and know the extent of the damage? Will it affect business or anything? I hope I don't lose my shit.

You wont lose your money, worry about the poor people down there instead of your transfer, as eye went through Nassau.

To the contrary, it's completely reasonable to conduct due-dil on whether your broker has proper disaster-recovery / backup facilities in place offsite.

As to helping the 'poor people down there' -- that's a reasonable topic for a separate thread on philanthropy.

I am getting evicted this month why'd I care what happens from natural disasters. These things happen all the time! (It's natural!! That is why it's called natural disasters duh!) Am I suppose to care for something that happens frequently around the world when I am about to get kicked out of my apartment and have a million other issues on hand? Sorry, I don't have a life like yours to give an ass care what happens elsewhere! Besides, if your not gonna do anything to make a difference than just sit on your ass behind a computer in the comfort of your own home then what gives you the right right to piss on others?
