You know, many of us here can remember back to when you and your ilk thought that whistleblowers were patriots who must be believed, listened to, and protected. I guess that view has conveniently changed for you.

A couple days or more ago I said that Hunter owed over two million in taxes and you asked where that came from. Read directly from the IRS whistleblowers testimony. Apparently he owed 200K for the two years that they charged him on, but he owed over 2.5 million on the years that they overlooked or let the clock run out on. That is why varying figures have been floating around.

The revelation that Biden appointees blocked charges against his son is politically explosive because Attorney General Merrick Garland testified under oath to Congress earlier this year that Weiss was empowered to bring charges outside of Delaware. Intentionally misleading Congress is a crime.

I’m reading through transcript 1 (212 pages). Dudes disgruntled he didn’t get a promotion. His beef is with Weiss while GOPcounsel is concerned with where money came from. Interestingly, yes the investigation did cover extensive offshore accounts, burisma, transactions etc. this was a very serious and extensive investigation.

This claim was made in transcript 1. The claim is the Biden lawyers waived the statute of limitations to allow for furtherance of the investigation. We don’t know what hunter Biden’s attorneys answers to those years were.
 
FBI knew and had confirmed that the laptop was Hunter's but let all of DC label it as "Russian disinformation."

The FBI found evidence of tax crimes on the laptop but did not pass it along to the IRS.

Scumbags all of them. The FBI/DOJ leadership and the Bidens should be in prison.

Needs splainin'. They are free to do more splainin; Lots more. Particularly the government.

If he waived statutue of limitations, but owed money from those years and the government did not charge or seek recovery that will not be pretty. There is a narrative in the press that the statute of limitations barred action there. That does not mean they are right. Getting the right story has been difficult. The government needs to be prepared to splain that to the committee though.

It is also possible that Hunter did not want to plead. But they sweetened the pot for him. Don't know. MORE TO COME.

The whistleblower, an IRS criminal investigator whose identity remains a mystery but who worked on the Biden tax probe, told members of the House Ways and Means Committee in a June 1 interview that Biden improperly deducted those expenses from his 2018 taxes.

That's one of the years covered under Biden's plea deal with federal prosecutors, which critics are deriding as a sweetheart deal. The whistleblower testimony fills in many of the gaps on how exactly Biden evaded paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes.

Payments like the ones described, doled out to prostitutes and sex clubs, were not just unlawful tax deductions but also may have been violations of federal sex trafficking laws, the whistleblower alleged, if the prostitutes crossed state lines. And the IRS had indeed located records showing that Biden flew prostitutes across state lines, "paying for their travel, paying for their hotels."
