I'm not taking anything away from the victory of Boris but the attempt at somehow correlating this with Trump is ridiculous (I am not saying you did this, I am speaking on the media in general). Before any Americans get too excited for the UK remember that most Brits regard you as nothing more than a "yank". The British and the French don't give a damn how conservative you are, you are nothing more than a "yank" to them. Don't believe me? Try traveling internationally and having a Frenchman or a Brit pull a knife on you in bar. We should stop trying to correlate our conservative tendencies to what happens in Europe. As an American, you are lower than pond scum to most Brits and French men. We should stop trying to correlate any populism or conservative victories in Europe to Trump....these events are totally unrelated. Remember, as an American you are nothing more than a "yank" to these people. Stop attributing conservative victories to Trump. No one gives a fuck about Trump on an international level in all honesty. Most Brits and Frenchmen hate Americans, keep that in mind.

Leftists in the USA are seeing their future here in 11 months. Total wipe out.

Yeah, Scotland might peel away but it won't make any difference. They are like Canada, not quite with the program and a bit slow on the uptake.

Its coming and it may be more staggering for the left than they can imagine. Americans are far more angry with Democrats than the UK was with Labor.

I'm not hating on your posts or disagreeing with you at all, but as an American do you know how most Brits and Frenchmen feel about Americans? Don't give Trump credit for what happens in the UK because most of the folks in the UK don't give a shit about what is going on in the USA.

France is burning. On fire. On strike. Its not clear Macron can stay in office. The French are humans, they want a decent life for their children. They cannot afford to live in Paris and so are forced to commute to their jobs over great distance and Macron just jacked up fuel taxes to ludicrous levels. Something must give.

I know you aren't attacking me. I just respectfully disagree Matt. Sorry for my tone, I'm just reveling in the moment.

I lived in the UK for years, in London and in a couple of other places that were pretty rough on Saturday night and never saw a knife pulled on anyone. What the hell were you saying or did you do? :) Did they not "respect your authority"?
