Ivan, with all the slime around here, it may be hard for you to believe that I don't follow you around and watch you. All I have to go on is what i read here on this very thread. This makes the 2nd time (I may not have it exactly) on this thread where you entered a short and quickly covered, as you said/outlined in posts.

If you're short and making money, that's great. You don't have to answer to me or get my approval. If you are satisfied with your own performance, that's all that counts. I know it's that way for me.
 
When you say I have weak hands on the short side, you don't think it's a bit shaky to make that comment based on one or two solitary situations in this particular thread?

I make day trades in forex, I make longer terms trades in stocks (since that is not my forte').

Day trades, by the very nature of the name, are short term, c'est ne pas?
 
I have a limit order to cover my short about 0.5% under yesterday close as I am so sure the market will be down today after yesterday. So sure that maybe I will be proved wrong.

Best of luck. I am going to sit the rest of this out. I made money for the call but did my own analysis. It was a volatile ride, fustrating at times.
