Huge majority of you here are losers? Agree?

I agree that the vast majority of posters in ET are net losers, which is fine, it is the norm, the problem lies in these losers giving opinions as if they were consistently profitable traders.

On top of that losing makes traders bitter, which adds to attacks, negative moods and overall bad attitude.

Your time might be well spent answering db's question. Become profitable - would make a nice conclusion to this thread.

Do you have a trading plan?

Doesn't matter. I usually read a newcomer's early posts to get an idea of where they are but didn't in this case. Now I have, so I know why he's losing.

Sorry for taking up space unnecessarily.

Thank you for making that point so clear. :)

Took me 2 years to be profitable but I probably spent twice as many hours as you have so don't despair. You might be close!

Ok, to help everyone open up, I'll have to be honest too. I've been trading for about 4years. So far, I've been losing.

Thank you for the encouragement. :)

I started this thread to see how many traders here would actually admit that they have an overall net lost.

So far, we only have 3 including myself.

If it is true that more than 90% of traders are net losers, than it could imply that the majority who replied but didn't admit their loses in this thread fills that 90%.

Math is beautiful. :)

I can't speak for anyone else, only myself. I've been doing this fulltime since '98. I didnt mess around on message boards UNTIL I was already consistently profitable.

Why waste time here if that time could be better spent analyzing data and crafting an approach?

For 4 painful years, I've tried almost everything. They didn't seem to work for me. I have no idea why.

The only thing that saves me from more disasters is the usual strict money management rules. That is the only thing functioning for me.

But still, my return curve is always in a gradual downslope. It's like the market wants to kill me softly.

I'll be grateful if any veteran would point me to some light.
