Typical Clinton spin job, just like I referred to earlier. Call out loyal media soldiers to protect them by sliming anyone with an R after their title.
As far as I know, Powell and Rice used commercial email, not some homebrew server obviously designed to be wiped or trashed at the first sign of the cops. Classic Hillary op. She didn't want to risk her dirty laundry being available via subpoena to Gmail, etc. You can understand why too, since she was commingling Clinton Foundation activities, ie perpetual fundraising and influence peddling, with her State job.
The Newsweek screed also tries to confuse the issue about classification. There were large numbers of classified docs on her server, not one or two like perhaps happened with Powell. Every security professional I have read has said it makes zero difference if it is stamped Top Secret or not. Certain types of information are automatically presumed sensitive. She had stuff that was beyond Top Secret as well. Anyone in her position would have known it was highly classified. There are also allegations that her aides removed docs from the secure system, scrubbed them and forwarded them to her on her private system. Clearly that would be a serious matter if proven.
There's another difference here too. Colin Powell and Condi Rice are highly ethical people about which there has never been even a suggestion of impropriety or wrongdoing. Let's just say that wouldn't apply to Hillary. She has been one step ahead of the law her whole career. She was chin deep in sleaze and corruption in Arkansas and took it to the WH with her like a family heirloom. She narrowly escaped prosecution for obstruction in the
White Water investigation. If the Clinton Library had a collection dedicated to Clinton scandals, it would have to be so large as to dwarf the Library.
