Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas) introduced a bill last week that would essentially allow gun-owners to carry concealed weapons around the country.

We can essentially do this now, so long as we don't enter a state that forbids CCW (of which there are only a few - and no state I'd care to ever visit: CA, NJ, NY, IL, MA, etc. Right now when I leave Florida I can go as far north as Maryland before I have to concern myself with the lack of reciprocity.

As much as I'd be for anything pro-gun, this should not be legislated at the Federal level. It is a state choice and should be decided there.
