Thanks for all the replies & suggestions. HLSH was made available to IB system the next day, and I was able to put a buy order just like any other stocks. I put in limit order for .20 (instead of .12) and got filled (at around 3 am!), but I'm just glad that I'm out. :) Like I said, I didn't have that many shares to make a huge difference.

how did you get a fill at 3am?
 
What I did was put a GTC (Good Til Cancelled) limit order in the afternoon and went away. When I checked next morning, I found out that it was filled around 3:20 AM EST. I'm not sure how/why it was trading at that time. Any idea?
 
good trade! gotta be careful of these though sometimes they can bounce back big, i.e. UNM, my father kind of specializes in these, has a good win%.
but i imagine if you shorted every stock in the past year as soon as any inkling of fraud came out you'd probably of made out. surprised there isnt a mutual fund or hedge fund for this? although there kinda is in the hedge world but now the SEC wants to crack down when this is how we expose and learn about these companies. the SEC certainly isnt catching anyone so why dont they just let the market root em out?
