HPQ announcing a spin off of pc unit, kind of suspicious to announce this the day earnings are to be printed though, im guessing earnings will not be impressive.
HPQ will not have impressive earnings, I am surprised they are still sitting in the DOW 30! This company needs a turnaround plan as soon as possible.....HPQ is lucky to have a stock price above $30.00.
They are discontinuing their touchpad tablets after only a month or so of being on the market. Firesale prices - $99 for 16gb and $149 for 32gb. I would have broken my vow to never to purchase another hp product, but I was too slow.
It's one thing to cut losses, but this just seems stupid.
